The position is available immediately. The role involves research using human cell lines and mouse models, applying techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9, next-generation sequencing, flow cytometry, and molecular biology assays work may be required based on the progress of experimentation. SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY: N/A NATURE AND SCOPE: The role involves research using human cell lines and mouse models, applying techniques such as CRISPR/Cas9, next-generation sequencing, flow cytometry, and molecular biology assays. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Perform research assignments requiring a basic working knowledge of scientific methods, laboratory techniques, computer applications, and experimental procedures. Assist the Principal Investigator with specific phases of research projects and provide support for laboratory and research activities. CORE COMPETENCIES: Perform routine laboratory maintenance and reagent preparation. Conduct molecular biology experiments, including PCR, cloning, Western blotting, and genotyping. Maintain cell cultures and assist with mouse studies. Support laboratory setup and ongoing research activities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in biology or related field (Masters preferred). 1+ years of lab experience in molecular/cell biology. Experience with mammalian cell culture and basic molecular techniques (PCR, Western blot, DNA/RNA work); strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.
