Body Shop Detailer - Hall Virginia Beach

Job Description Hall is a division of fast-growing MileOne Autogroup and our Body Shop in Virginia Beach needs to add a full-time automotive detailer to our team to help us keep up with the busy pace. SUMMARY: The Body Shop Detailer cleans and refurbishes new and used automobiles. Conforms to dealership and/or manufacturer specifications and time allowances. ESSENTIAL DUTIES FOR BODY SHOP DETAILER: - Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs - Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris - Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents - Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation QUALIFICATIONS FOR BODY SHOP DETAILER: - Valid Drivers License, with 2 or fewer moving violations in last 3 years and ALSO no major violations in the last 3 years (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) - Three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience - Basic MS Office knowledge; computer software, internet proficiency and general mathematic skills - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form - Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations MileOne Autogroup is an equal opportunity employer and we maintain a drug free work environment.
