Project Management Specialist Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid or Senior level Project Management Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to support Business Operations based out of North Charleston, South Carolina on 1st shift. A successful candidate has strong project management skills, communicates clearly and concisely, follows through, and builds strong, positive relationships with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels. Position Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and run quality sprints (planning, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives) to address high-priority quality initiatives (e.g., defect backlogs, automation expansion, technical debt). Work with Product Owners, Engineering, QA, and DevOps to define sprint goals, scope, acceptance criteria, and success metrics. Maintain and prioritize the quality backlog; ensure clear stories/tasks and proper estimates. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to unblock work, surface risks, and escalate issues to leadership when needed. Integrate testing and quality activities into CI/CD pipelines; track automation progress and test coverage improvements. Track and report quality KPIs (e.g., escape rate, defect density, mean time to detect/resolve, automated test pass rate, cycle time) to stakeholders. Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring quality problems. Coach teams on best practices for quality engineering (test automation, shift-left testing, test strategies, code review, static analysis). Coordinate release readiness and validation activities for targeted releases. Lead continuous improvement efforts through retrospectives, process changes, and training. Manage resources, timelines, and dependencies for multiple concurrent quality initiatives. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience collaborating with senior management and/or executive leadership 3+ years of experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools 3+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications such as SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project 1+ years of experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as: Open Plan Professional, Microsoft Project Professional, Enterprise Project Management, or a similar tool. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited college or university 1+ years of experience with program oversight & metrics reporting Experience working on airplane programs or supporting the production system Experience developing and integrating strategic projects, plans, and initiatives to meet business goals Experience working in a multifaceted work environment, to include managing multiple priorities Project management certification (PMP, PMI, PMBOK, PMBP, etc.) Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues in a multi-skill operations environment Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Companys Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
