Thanks for your interest in working on our team! Job Title: Game Day Ops Assistant Pay Details: The starting hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour. Summary of Position The Game Operations Assistant assists in the behind the scenes implementation of all game operations activities and events. Responsibilities Assist in all game day fan activations in the seating bowl. Work with game operations and arena staff on planning and development of special events. Assist with the execution of events and San Diego Gulls special events including the set-up and breakdown of event, following directions of Game Operations Manager Assist with game day presentations and operations such as the National Anthem, Color Guard, Military Hero, and intermission promotional events. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and all home games. Experience in game day operations with the ability to lift/carry heavy props, boxes and equipment Experience in sports and hockey is not mandatory, but highly preferred. Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team. Excellent interpersonal skills with enthusiasm for San Diego Gulls Hockey Club sports and entertainment environment. Organized with the ability to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced work environment with a high noise level. Must be able to walk and climb stairs as needed before, during and after home games. Perform strenuous physical duties, including carrying heavy boxes and equipment. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Education - Some College, No Degree Experience Required - 1-2 Year's This position is on-site.
