Job Details Shift Hours: Tuesday- Saturday 10am-6pm Please note, flexibility in schedule will be required based on business needs, this can include working different hours or days. This position is located onsite at our facility in New Hyde Park, NY. There is no option for remote or hybrid work. This role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business. Under close supervision of the designated manager or supervisor, the entry clerk performs the clerical tasks for one or more departments. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Preparing Customs entries for U.S Customs, DEA, FDA, USDA, CDC Fish and Wildlife, RLF and in bond etc. (hard copy and electronic) Assisting brokers with paperwork Billing entry and entering charges and Incoterms into internal systems. Sending the required A1A documents to importers and preparing required internal record keeping copies of entry documents To keep current and understand all customer SOP Performs other duties as assigned Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Brokerage license preferred. Work Experience: Normally requires a minimum of one (1) to two (2) years directly related experience. Experience with customs entries and clearances preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Working knowledge of the ABI system and preparing Customs entries. Ability to work harmoniously with colleagues and other WC offices (team player) Communicate professionally via phone and email with clients regarding status of their shipments. Pleasant personality, and professional demeanor. Clerks with a valid Certified Customs Specialist Certification (CCS) must obtain the required 20 points for renewal. The actual range may vary based on your locale. Ranges in Colorado/California/Washington/New York/Hawaii/Vermont/Minnesota/Massachusetts/Illinois State-specific locations may be up to 10% lower than the minimum salary range, and 12% higher than the maximum salary range.
