Braun Intertec is seeking to hire an API Inspection Technician to join their Bloomington, MN team. Job Description Summary Performs API 510/570 inspections, organize UTT people, create inspection plans. Responsibilities: Perform API 510 & 570 inspections May perform Ultrasonic, Radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on specifically assigned field or laboratory projects Works independently as crew lead on job sites Prepare reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner Understands and utilizes safe work practices Required Skills: Strong work ethic Self-Starter Strong client focus Seller and a Doer Punctual Excellent verbal and written skills Exceptional safety and quality awareness Mechanically inclined Detail-oriented Team player Follow process and procedures Willingness to travel on out-of-town assignments Willingness to work long hours Required Experience: API 510 & 570 certification or some combination of API certifications API 653 certification preferred, not required CWI Certification is a plus, not required ASNT-TC-1A Level II in NDE methods RT, MT, PT, UT, VT, some combination preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Post education or formal training in non-destructive testing Familiar with NDT equipment Experienced with NDT methods and procedures Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
