Job Description What is the opportunity? The 2026 program is based in Minneapolis, MN and runs from June 01,2026 August 14, 2026. The RBC GAM Summer 2026 Internship Program offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain experience within the Asset Management industry. In this role, the intern will support the RBC Global Asset Management distribution team on a range of projects that drive business development, including but not limited to distribution strategy, market intelligence, competitive analysis, business management, and other distribution related assignments. Our program provides students the opportunity to gain in-depth, hands-on experience while working and learning alongside our experienced financial services professionals. Our program includes learning sessions, social outings, volunteer work, career development, networking opportunities, exposure to executive leadership and more. What will you do? Conduct research on prospective Institutional clients and markets, with the ability to make and present conclusions, to help the distribution team with RBCs overall distribution strategy Work with the Institutional Distribution and Business Management teams to support efforts broadly including business development administration and strategy Liaise with the Marketing team to optimize e-distribution of marketing content and to analyze metrics of engagement Provide analytical support to the Institutional Sales and Client Solutions teams as directed by respective team leads Various other research projects related to the Asset Management industry Consolidate and analyze various distribution metrics to measure sales activity success and strategy plan objectives What do you need to succeed? Junior or Senior (Graduation dates between Dec 2026 May 2028) with a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline Demonstrated academic excellence within major Exceptional listening skills, well-developed communication skills (written and verbal), and ability to interpret client needs Attributes of a team player collaborative, self-motivated, relentless focus, attention to detail, and self-sufficient (ability to work in a hybrid environment) Proficiency in MS Office Suite Strong research, reporting and technical skills (Excel, CRM systems, etc.) Passion for financial markets and learning with a growth mindset Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship Whats in it for you?
