Team Name: Rights and Economic Renewal in the U.S. Role Purpose The U.S. Rights and Economic Renewal program is looking to hire an Administration Officer to join the 5-year initiative that aims to safeguard core freedoms that are under attack, expand rights, and improve Americans economic wellbeing. The Administration Officer takes on advanced executive support responsibilities that help manage administrative tasks so the Director can focus on programmatic priorities and strategic, high value activities. The Administration Officer also supports the broader teamensuring the Director, Associate Director, and Program Manager can fulfill the organizations mission and goals through effective coordination, communication, and operational support. Key responsibilities Serve as a critical communications liaisonbetween thepeer Directors offices. Manageinternalteambudgetto ensure knowledge and clarityacross different programmatic areas of work. Administercontracts tosupportthe teamsneeds. Create systems to ensure operations run seamlessly. Supportthe Directorwith administrative functions,including coordinating schedules,planning complex stakeholder meetings and events,credit card reporting,researching, and arrangingtravellogistics. Generate and prepare a variety of materials in advance of routine and special engagements,preparingbriefingmaterials,meeting agendas andlogisticsnotes,presentations, andreports as needed. Takenotes in meetings. Support project management asrequired. Other duties as required. Possess a track record of being atrustedpartner to senior leadership,always exercising professionalism and confidentiality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability torepresentthe Director professionally. Ability to design,maintain, and improve administrative systems(files, trackers, workflows,budgettools). Experience managing department-wide budgets. Expertise usingMicrosoft suite of applications withproficiencyinExcel. Familiarity with software to make presentations and slide decks. Competenttothinkseveral steps aheadto ensure theDirectorhas administrative support necessary to be successful. Experiencemanaging complexscheduling andtravel arrangements. Ability to adapt quickly to newtools,informationand needs and can go with the flow. Ability to be outcome-driven. Responsive to rapidly changing environments.
