JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Production Assistant to join "The Big Money Show" on Fox Business. You are a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. You are comfortable working under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. You have an interest in news and want to pursue a career in tv. As the Production Assistant, you have a 'good eye' for what leads to the most creative and compelling TV screen. You will be offered the following shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM ET - 3:00 PM ET A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Pitch story ideas relevant to the Big Money Show themes Cut relevant video and sound for segments Handle graphic elements for the show and social media Support senior staff in the newsroom and control room Interact with and support on-air talent Develop news writing skills and work towards producing segments independently WHAT YOU WILL NEED Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience A passion for current events and business news Knowledge of newsroom functions Familiarity with digital editing platforms, such as Dalet and iNews Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Strong social media skills Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines #LI-BC1 We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $19.00-27.65 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
