Building Name: UVMMC - 356 Mountain View Drive Location Address: 356 Mountain View Drive, Colchester Vermont Regular Department: Specialty Pharmacy - PCC Full Time Standard Hours: 40 Biweekly Scheduled Hours: Shift: Day Primary Shift: - Weekend Needs: None Salary Range: Min $26.01 Mid $33.51 Max $41.00 Recruiter: Jason Dubuque JOB DESCRIPTION The Specialty Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) is responsible to provide full integrated support to patients, pharmacists and clinic staff by providing full continuum of specialty medication services. Specialty Pharmacy PCCs are result-oriented with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality patient care and service. This position requires a high level of detail orientation and strong administrative/organizational skills. This is an on-site position EDUCATION High School / GED plus one year of post high school education or related work experience. Certifications: Pharmacy Technician National Certification through PTCB or NHA required. Licenses: Vermont Board of Pharmacy Technician License required Specialty Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinators will maintain their Pharmacy Technician Registration/License with the State of Vermont Board of Pharmacy as well as their National Certification in good standing. EXPERIENCE One year technician experience as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalency required. Three to five years preferred. Specialty pharmacy or pre-certification experience strongly encouraged.
