Our employees are not only part of history, theyre making history. Aerospace Structures sector is seeking a Sr. Principal Training Rep to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Iuka, MS where technology and teamwork come together. Essential Functions: Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel. Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities. Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques. Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments. May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs. May be responsible for development of e-learning programs. Provide lecture and hands on instruction on complex bagging, wet lay-up, scarf repair and various composite maintenance repairs. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent and 12 years additional manufacturing experience and/or related education experience or 8 Years with Bachelors; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD Must possess a minimum of 5 years of composites fabrication, layup & repair experience. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance and Special Program Access within a reasonable period, as defined by the company to meet its business needs. U.S. Citizenship required for clearance required to start, but not required to apply Ability to work any shift to support training schedule and program needs. Ability to develop, present, teach, & mentor technicians on modern complex composite processes. Ability to demonstrate skills equivalent to entry level blueprint and technical data comprehension and shop math. Knowledgeable in the use of process specifications. Able to work in confined spaces, be able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, process-oriented environment. Must be able to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 35 pounds, and working overhead Must be able to access small, confined spaces and work in an enclosed environment Preferred Qualifications: Practical hands-on bracket bonding experience Practical hands-on experience with PI & overwrap installation & fabrication Complex composite bagging experience Provide lecture and hands on instruction on complex bagging, wet lay-up, scarf repair and various composite maintenance repairs. Team leadership experience Current/active a U.S. Government Secret level clearance and special access program Ability to obtain and maintain any certs needed for working on the production floor. Composites and airframe fabrication, assembly, and LO coatings experience Ability to demonstrate independent creative thinking and problem-solving capabilities Practical hands-on experience with proper mixes of resins and catalysts; lay out, cuts, prepares and impregnates materials as required. Ability to train technicians in complex composite structures certification. Experience with operating various types of manufacturing tools and/or composition curing equipment Must be able to individually manage multiple tasks concurrently and provide technical support to business functions on a variety of different projects Experience with reading and interpreting technical documents, drawings, and process procedures Ability to interface with various support organizations and levels of management Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Self-starter who is able to work with minimal direction The ability to pass Special Medical/Respiratory Exam. Must possess basic Knowledge of Microsoft suite. Must be able to travel to multiple Northrop Grumman locations. Possesses excellent written and oral communication skills. Primary Level Salary Range: $92,200.00 - $138,400.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
