Job Summary Performs routine clerical duties, interacting with clinicians, patients and visitors. Prioritizes assignments and organizes functions to insure effective office operations. Performs related work as required. Essential Functions Provides information to patients, families and providers. * Information is provided on a timely basis and is accurate. Answers phones, greets visitors, handles their inquiries and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs. * Greet patients and visitors professionally when covering the front desk. Schedule appointments for patients and maintain schedules. * Accuracy and knowledge of scheduling. Performs general clerical duties including typing routine correspondence, reports and forms, filing and maintaining files, compiling data for reports and opening and screening mail and routing to appropriate staff member. * Reports and correspondence prepared on a timely basis with minimal errors. Accurate data entry. Performs other general office duties as instructed by their supervisor. * Flexibility and willingness to accept changes in work assignments.
