Impact Youll Make Execute Accounting & Reporting Advisory engagements, with primary responsibility for conducting research and preparing client deliverable. Support client engagements by diagnosing accounting irregularities, evaluating financial data integrity, and advising on remediation strategies to address identified discrepancies. Review and analyze complex contracts, perform technical accounting research, and document conclusions in accordance with applicable guidance. Draft accounting memoranda and prepare supporting models/schedules as applicable, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with relevant accounting standards. What Youll Do Support the day-to-day execution of Accounting & Reporting Advisory engagements, collaborating closely with internal teams and clients. Conduct research and assist in preparing client deliverables, including accounting memoranda, accounting policies, financial statement disclosures, supporting schedules, and journal entries. Leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance research, streamline deliverable preparation, and improve overall efficiency and insight. Partner with other service linessuch as valuation and dispute practicesto provide ad hoc research and project support. Contribute to business development and marketing efforts, including proposals, presentations, and thought leadership initiatives. Participate in market-facing activities to build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, referral sources, public and private companies, and CPA firms. Work with finance-focused ERP systems, including NetSuite, Sage Intacct, SAP, and Oracle. The selected candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter, who is interested in participating in growth of service line within the established firm. What You Bring Familiarity of U.S. GAAP, including areas such as purchase accounting, impairment, complex debt and equity securities, stock-based compensation, revenue recognition, and lease accounting. Familiarity with SEC regulations and filing requirements is a plus. Familiarity with or interest in using AI tools and technology to enhance productivity, research, and analysis. Experience with preparing financial statements Exposure to or experience with IFRS is a plus. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to translate complex accounting standards and technical guidance into clear, plain-English explanations. Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong client-service orientation. Highly organized with strong project and time management skills Positive and enthusiastic attitude Excels in a team-oriented work environment Shows creativity in problem solving Accountability and ability to multi-task Strong technical and analytical skills Education and/or Training: Bachelors in Accounting, Mathematics or Economics 3+ years of relevant professional experience in technical accounting or operational accounting and financial reporting; Big 4 audit/assurance experience, accounting advisory experience, or relevant corporate/industry experience preferred. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $74,000.00 - $135,000.00 Annual. This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
