Our location in Lake Forest, IL currently has an opportunity for a Contract Administrator. This role will provide administrative, analytical, and procedural support to internal and external customers on behalf of the Contract Administration Department. This role acts as a liaison between account executives, regional sales directors, directors of national accounts, and others in processing and administration of sales contracts. WHAT YOULL DO Ensure timely processing of sales contracts Negotiate and draft contract terms and conditions in accordance with corporate policies Analyze potential risks that contract changes may pose to the organization Present and explain contract conditions and details to customers, business partners, and management Resolve any existing contract conflicts Work with different levels of personnel within an organization to analyze and solidify an overall contract strategy Independently support one or more sales regions in regards to full contract management Acts as a resource to the sales organization in regard to current pricing and contracting policies and programs Participate in and prepare for contracting strategy meetings Perform database maintenance on an ongoing basis to insure accurate reporting Assist in updating departmental SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) Meet deadlines and update clients with status Utilize data from the companys CRM system to generate reports, analyze data, and track product and ordering patterns Interface with internal fulfillment group and distributors to establish working relationships, assure proper end-user pricing and contract effective dates are loaded Understands and is aware of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job; has awareness of device defects that may occur in their area of responsibility, including product design, verification and validation, manufacturing and testing activities Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the companys policies and practices; build productive internal/external working relationships EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOULL BRING Required Requires a Bachelors degree in a business-related discipline Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in commercial sales contracting, 5 years is preferred Negotiate and draft contract terms and conditions Intermediate to expert level experience with MS Office, with a heavy emphasis on Excel, is required Demonstrated ability to effectively and constructively communicate across departmental disciplines while pursuing contract department goals.
