Job Summary The Restorative Nursing Aide provides restorative nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing / long-term care facility, focusing on mobility, strength, range of motion, and maintaining the highest level of independence possible. Responsibilities Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises Encourage mobility and independence per care plan Provide assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care) Reposition residents and apply pressure-relieving devices Assist with toileting needs, including catheter bag emptying Support Therapy Department with active/passive exercises Maintain accurate documentation and charting Report changes in condition to licensed nursing staff Help residents prepare for meals, appointments, and activities Maintain a positive, calm, and supportive environment Qualifications Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification Completed Restorative Aide Training Current CPR certification High school diploma or equivalent 1 year of skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred Why Work at Napa Post Acute?
