Position Summary... The Payroll Specialist supports the Payroll Specialty team and plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll for over 1.7 million associates each pay period. This role involves reviewing reports, audits, and service tickets to identify and correct pay discrepancies. Key Responsibilities: Review, research, and resolve payroll issues using audits, reports, and service tickets. Investigate discrepancies and correct payroll errors to ensure associates are paid accurately and on time. Handle sensitive and confidential information while maintaining data integrity. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve complex payroll concerns. Interpret payroll-related policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations to ensure compliance. Manage escalated payroll inquiries, providing accurate information and timely resolutions. Utilize multiple systems including payroll, HRIS, and case management tools to support payroll functions. Complete work assignments accurately while balancing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. Support process improvements and participate in testing system enhancements or updates when needed. Uphold company values by demonstrating respect, integrity, and a focus on service excellence. Minimum Qualifications: Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy. Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently. Skilled in researching, problem-solving, and resolving payroll issues. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word. Comfortable navigating multiple systems and handling confidential information. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Preferred Qualifications: Previous payroll experience (high-volume preferred). Experience with payroll systems such as SAP, INFOR, or similar platforms. Knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and audit processes.
