As a Manager, Sourcing Produce, youll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our produce business, driving innovation, and delivering value to millions of customers. In this role, youll help us keep the customer at the heart of everything we do, supporting Walmarts mission to help people save money and live better. What youll do: Develop and execute sourcing strategies for produce, managing budgets and driving profitable growth. Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, merchants, and business partners. Influence key decisions on replenishment, supply chain, assortment, and pricing. Collaborate with Product Development to design and launch new Private Brand products. Serve as a category expert, anticipating trends and opportunities in produce sourcing. What youll bring: Proven experience in sourcing, supply chain, or merchandising (minimum 3 years). Strong analytical skills and a track record in supplier relationship management. Expertise in category management, negotiation, and produce industry trends. Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Willingness to travel 10%30% to visit growers and suppliers. Preferred: Experience in the produce industry, sourcing, retail, and cost negotiation.
