Ensures efficient staffing and promotes core values, overseeing recruitment, selection, and retention to reflect population diversity. Engages staff in decision-making within their scope. Provides comprehensive Supply Chain support for Surgical, Diagnostic, and Procedural Areas, including inventory management and surgical suite support. Oversees inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking and availability of supplies. Develops and implements strategies to optimize supply chain processes and improve efficiency. Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless integration of supply chain operations. Monitors and analyzes supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Manages budget and financial aspects of the supply chain department. Ensures compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Provides training and development opportunities for supply chain staff. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong organization skills [Required] Effective analytical and problem-solving skills [Required] Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of Florida Hospital staff [Required] Proficient with spreadsheets, presentations, and general computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc. [Required] Business and human resources skills as they relate to assigned area(s) of responsibility [Required] Ability to mentor, enhance, and engage organizational talent [Required] Ability to manage stress and handle deadlines, challenging situations and diverse personalities [Required] Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals [Required] Ability to have critical conversations with leaders and staff to hold them accountable to established goals and standards [Required] Ability to track and report key performance measures (KPIs) to diverse groups, consolidate data, and present results and executive summaries to leadership [Required] Working knowledge of Barcode and/or Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) supply processing in supported areas [Preferred] Knowledge of and ability to navigate the hospitals Materials Management Information Systems ERP, a Point-of-Use system(s), Other systems to include - SurgiNet, Apollo, package tracking, and Intranet [Preferred] Current knowledge of medical supply terminology [Preferred] Knowledge of Inventory Control concepts, Par Optimization and Par Management [Preferred] Knowledge of Charge Master concepts and systems [Preferred] Education: Bachelor's [Required] Field of Study: Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Healthcare Administration or related field Work Experience: 3+ materials management experience and one year of supervisory or management experience [Required] 5+ materials or supply chain related role and three years of supervisory or management experience [Required] Experience in Lean (Six Sigma) Process Improvement methodologies and application within supply chain management [Preferred] Additional Information: N/A Licenses and Certifications: Certified Materials & Resource Professional (CMRP) [Preferred] Six Sigma [Required] Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) [Preferred] Physical Requirements: (Please click the link below to view work requirements) Physical Requirements - https://tinyurl.com/23km2677 Pay Range: $60,151.66 - $111,886.39 This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
