Your Opportunity: Taylor Print & Visual Impressions, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for an Equipment Operator (Cutter/Folder/Stitcher Operator) to be responsible for performing all stitching and folding tasks involved in the production of Taylor Print & Visual Impressions (TPVI) products. This includes set-up, operation, and tear down of folding equipment. Work Authorization: To be considered for Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Your Shift: 1st Shift, Monday Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm Responsibilities: Set up and operate die-cutting machines according to specifications and procedures. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed. Ensure the machine is clean and well-maintained. Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Report any quality issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel. Load and unload materials onto and from the machine. Store materials properly according to company guidelines. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors. Maintain accurate records of production, quality, and machine maintenance. Read job ticket to ensure equipment is set up according to specifications and all required work is performed on each job. Finish the product according to job ticket instructions. Read and interpret information from the bindery paperwork, planning sheets, layouts, dylux, and job ticket. Complete tasks as directed by production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. Utilize instructions and pre-established process and quality guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Examine/adjust finished products for quality assurance. Report defective materials or questionable quality issues to the department Supervisor or Lead. You Must Have: Must be at least 18 years of age Basic bindery knowledge and skills to operate bindery equipment Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos and follow directions Ability to perform basic math calculations Use basic handheld tools such; rubber straps, plastic bags, plastic packaging clamshells, cardboard boxes, tape dispensers, and other materials necessary to the production and packaging of TPVI products We Would Also Prefer: High mechanical aptitude Previous experience operating folding equipment The anticipated hourly range for this position is $17 - $20. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
