Credentialing Analyst II Medical Staff Office Take the lead as a Credentialing Analyst and manage over 100 initial credentialing packets and 400 re-credentialing packets a year. Request verification of previous employment for practitioners and respond to verification requests received. Keep the department up to date by generating monthly reports and ensuring that the distribution of appointment and reappointment documents are on schedule. Be the point of contact for internal and external requesters. Preferred Criteria: One to two years relevant experience in an academic medical center NAMSS Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) Required Criteria: Bachelor's Degree Two years direct experience with medical staff credentialing Intermediate knowledge of Credentialing Software (Cactus) and Microsoft Office products Ability to work independently Strong interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail Basic knowledge and understanding of Medical Staff Credentialing and Privileging Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
