Job Title Forklift Operator II - 1st Shift Position Overview Find your future with Shaw Industries. Position also responsible for the transport of merchandise from trailers to storage locations and from storage areas to trailers for shipping. Essential Functions: Receiving a pull task with information on the hard surface material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck. Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from location. Complete paperwork as required. Wrap and band hard surface materials prepared on pallets. Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment. Tape and repair any damaged packages. Raise/Lower dock plate Use orange cone system for full or empty trailers Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager This position is located and works out of Elgin, IL. $23.43 Per Hour Mon-Fri: 7:00 am start time (subject to change) Work Shift 8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM Shaw Industries is an equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
