JOB DESCRIPTION: Engineering Project Delivery Manager, Casa Grande, AZ Primary Function: Ensuring technical project delivery meets performance, safety, quality, and budget targets while following all Abbott Nutrition Policies and Standards. Coordinating field construction teams to ensure timely objectives are met. Leading cross-functional teams during plant maintenance outages to ensure its a seamless transition from construction through start-up. The Opportunity This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Youll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures. What You'll Work On: Oversee full lifecycle of engineering and capital projects from concept through closeout Oversee construction activities, perform site inspections, and resolve field issues. Facilitate design coordination between internal engineers and customers (e.g. Quality, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Manufacturing department leads) Coordinate construction managers and superintendents to execute fieldwork safely and efficiently. Develop critical path schedules and resource plans specific to shutdown windows. Manage pre-shutdown readiness reviews, outage coordination, and post-outage closeout Present project updates to executives using dashboards and presentations. Conduct post-project reviews and lessons-learned sessions. Promote a strong safety culture across all project phases. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree is required; preference will be given to engineering, construction management or related technical field. PMP or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum 7+ years of experience in engineering or construction project management, including direct responsibility of field teams and shutdown coordination. Minimum 3+ years of experience in regulated industry (preferably infant formula, pharma, food, or biotech). Strong knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, clean construction practices, and validation coordination Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, dashboards), Word, PowerPoint (executive-level presentations, charts, animations) and Outlook for planning, reporting and collaborating. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (e.g. Maximo, JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP) Strong leadership, planning, presentation, and communication skills. Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methods, and project delivery systems. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, KaiNexus, Procore, Primavera), AutoCAD, and civil design software (e.g., Civil 3D).
