Work Shift: A & C Shift This position is currently working from 5:00am-5:30pm B & D Shift: This position is currently working from 5:00pm-5:30am 12-Hour Schedule Benefits 26 weeks each year of predetermined time off Seven days off in a row every other week 45% fewer days spent at work Less vehicle wear and tear 45% less commuting costs annually Ability to schedule appointments during the work week and weekend activities ahead of time on your scheduled days off Potential Child Care cost savings Ability to work overtime in other departments These positions start at $21.55/HR (with $1/HR shift premium for 3rd shift positions) Job Description: These positions are responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of the product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. These positions could work in any department of this meat processing facility. Applicants will be considered for Operator level openings. Leveling (pay) is determined based on availability of relevant labor level job. Applicants may choose from any of the roles listed based on availability: Extended Run, Machine Operator, Oven Operator, Relief Operator, Spice Room Operator, and Utility Operator. Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs The Team Member will stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas The Team Member will stand 8-12 hours on hard floors The Team Member will perform repetitive motions as required in many areas The Team Member will work in a cold, damp environment The Team Member will work on slippery walking surfaces Requirements: Must have 3 month work experience listed on application (can be multiple employers but must add up to 3 months) Preferred Skills: Prefer 3 month of Machine Operator Experience Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred RF Scanner experience preferred Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 365 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
