Full Job Description

Wilson & Company is seeking a Transportation EIT with hands on design and modeling experience to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This position will perform roadway design and modeling utilizing Microstation/Inroads & OpenRoads Designer. They will work in conjunction with the Project Managers, Peer Engineers and CADD Team Members to coordinate the roadway design with other project disciplines to meet project deadlines for various projects throughout Colorado and other regions as needed. Essential Job Functions Although expected to work independently, this individual must be able to interact well with other team members within the Wilson & Company team. Contact and visit clients for business development / marketing; including attendance at local industry conferences and seminars. High degree of interpersonal and communication skills is necessary. Proven teamwork and problem solving skills. Comfortable to manage and develop business client relationships. Excellent work ethic and a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles. Required Skills: Strong work ethic and an understanding of engineering principles. Experience in CADD utilizing Microstation or Autocad. Proven teamwork and problem solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Suite products including Word and Excel. Good intrapersonal skills. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to peers, senior staff and clients. Job Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States Required Experience: Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering. Engineering Intern Certification. 0-3 years experience in the design of streets and highways. Experience with federal, state and local regulations that pertain to the design of street and/or highway projects preferred. Experience with Microstation and Roadway Designer software is highly preferred. Annual Salary range: $66,000 - $93,000 Please note that Wilson & Company is not currently sponsoring applicants for work visas.
