The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $110,250 - $161,700 at the time of posting. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Be Doing in this Role: Market Expertise: Serve as Dematics primary expert for the Durable Manufacturing vertical in North America, with a deep understanding of industry trends, customer difficulties, and challenges. Insights Dissemination: Share trends and analytical reports from the Global Vertical Market expert team with the North American commercial team, ensuring they are equipped with the latest industry insights. Go-to-Market Strategy Development: Collaborate with the sales leadership team to formulate and implement effective go-to-market strategies sought at achieving new business growth. Account Manager Support: Proactively support Account Managers by demonstrating historical project knowledge and insights related to high-priority pursuits. Collaborate with a cross-functional pre-contract solution team to craft and propose innovative logistics solutions. Stakeholder Mapping: Build and maintain industry network maps that identify key customers, partners, vendors, and competitors. Networking and Relationship Building: Participate in activities to elevate brand presence, such as being part of industry associations and attending networking events to stay connected with market developments. Operational Analysis: Analyze customer operations to identify logistical strategies and problems within distribution centers and the broader supply chain. Customer Engagement: Initiate early engagement with customers to educate them on automation solutions, articulate Dematics value proposition, facilitate return on investment discussions, and understand organizational structures and buying influences to develop effective Target Account Penetration Strategies. Performance Monitoring: Track and assess the performance of vertical, developing both short-term and long-term strategies to boost pipeline growth. What We Are Looking For: A minimum of 10 years experience in sales or operations within the Durable Manufacturing industry. Bachelors degree (BS/BA) in a related field; advanced degree preferred. Possessing an Engineering degree or equivalent is a plus. Proven track record in building strong customer relationships and achieving business results. Comprehensive understanding of distribution center performance metrics. Experience in consultative selling methodologies. Familiarity with material handling automation technologies, including Unit Load AS/RS, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and Pallet Shuttles. Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written. Sharp discernment, including understanding P&L for logistics operations. Willingness to travel up to 35% as the need arises by the role.
