Position Information The Digital Promotions Program Aide, under general supervision, assists with all aspects of digital promotions, supporting the creation of assets for web, email, and product pages; writing copy for product descriptions, landing pages, and email campaigns; contributing web design ideas; and supporting the development and execution of promotional strategies for campaigns. This position collaborates with multiple colleagues and contributes wherever needed, adapting to shifting priorities and capacity. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who takes initiative, enjoys learning new technology, and finding solutions. Essential Responsibilities Creates digital assets for web, email, and product pages, collaborating with design and promotional team. Writes and edits copy for product descriptions, landing pages, and email campaigns, ensuring content is SEO-optimized and aligned with brand voice. Assists with ideation and execution of digital promotional strategies for campaigns. Contributes web design ideas and supports the implementation of design updates. Stays current on digital marketing, SEO, and web design trends. Supports campaign reporting and analysis as needed. Uploads and modifies products, imagery, and content on the e-commerce platform. Regularly browses the AgriLife Learn storefront catalog to ensure products, links, content and services are up to date and working properly and reports any suggested improvements. Performs other duties as assigned to support the digital promotions team. Required Education and Experience Bachelors Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, other applicable field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of related content writing and editing experience . Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written communication. Strong copy-writing skills with a focus on writing for web and SEO. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking. Ability to use critical thinking and reasoning to solve problems. Ability to present information clearly and concisely Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience with copywriting for digital platforms. Experience creating digital assets (graphics, banners, etc.). Interest in marketing strategy and campaign development. Familiarity with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and basic design tools Experience writing copy for product descriptions, landing pages, and promotional campaigns via web, email, and social media. Preferred Knowledge Skills and Abilities Keen eye for detail and appreciation of great design. Knowledge of digital marketing, web design, and SEO principles. Strong writing and editing skills. Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency with computers and related software, including Salesforce, MS Office Suite, and other relevant platforms.
