THE JOB: At the TAP Sports Bar, we are seeking an experienced Cook with 2+ years of restaurant Cooking expertise to skillfully apply their culinary techniques and contribute to an exceptional dining experience. In this role, you'll maintain a solid knowledge of food products, ensure high standards of sanitation, and work collaboratively with the kitchen team to create enjoyable moments for our guests. THE STARTING RATE: $22.05 per hour THE DAY-TO-DAY: Apply culinary techniques and maintain solid knowledge of food products and menu items. Safely use kitchen equipment and restock supplies and food items as needed. Properly label and date products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation. Focus on plate presentation and assist with the execution of service. Prepare base sauces, stocks, and soups as required. Collaborate as a team to meet guest needs and inquiries. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 1-2 years of Restaurant Cooking experience in a similar environment is preferred Knowledge of knives and knife skills, standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, beverage machines, Cryovac machine and smallwares is preferred Able and willing to work Part-Time schedule, 24-30 hours per week including weekends and holidays. TAP Hours of Operation: Sun & Thu: 11a-11p, Mon-Wed 4p-11p, Fri-Sat 11a-12am. Must be willing to come in earlier and when location is closed to accommodate business needs. Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage. Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements. Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans.
