Job Description: This role is hybrid and will require one day per week in the New York City office. We are dentsu X, a media agency that believes the best experience wins in the algorithmic era. Role & Responsibilities As a Director of Audience and Insights you will be responsible for building data solutions within the proprietary dentsu audience platforms to guide insights, strategy, planning, and activation. This role is also responsible for leading the audience strategy across several key dX brands, working hands on and directly with senior level clients, agency partners, and our teams. You will report to VP, Audience and Insights. Data and Tool Mastery: Being the expert on our proprietary tool and data sets, you will not only be able to utilize the tools and data to their full capacity but able to educate and explain them to other teams and clients Audience creation: Develop audiences within Dentsu data and through the utilization of 1PD, CRM, 3PD, and syndicated data sources Client advisor: Serve as a strategic advisor to key clients, translating business objectives into audience strategies, being clear on how and why you developed audiences for their goals Activation facilitator: Working cross functionally with planning and digital performance teams to publish audiences for activation across a number of partners, DSPs, and platforms Measurement: Collaborate with measurement and analytics to define audience measurement Stay current with industry developments: Staying up to date on audience strategy, data science, and platform activation capabilities so you can utilize and grow in those areas Compelling Storyteller: Craft and deliver compelling audience strategy presentations, with clear insights backed by data and actionable recommendations tailored for partners at every level- from junior to C-Suite executives. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in audience and/or data-driven performance, preferably at an agency Ability to unlock growth opportunities and collaborate with activation Experience presenting to C-Suite and high value partners Excellent collaboration and team-building skills Ability to think proactively and drive projects to successful completion Experience with consumer and insights platforms and systems from MRI-Simmons and GWI to Statista and WARC Experience with CPG a plus The annual salary range for this position is $113,000-$182,850. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
