About the Role: As a Housekeeper at The Winslow, you will clean residents rooms, baths, offices, halls, and other areas. What will you be doing as a Housekeeper and Laundry Associate: Cleaning and Room Tasks Resident Rooms and Common Areas: Clean resident rooms and toilets, shower rooms, tub rooms, public toilets, halls, dining areas, and sitting areas. Wash beds and mattresses, remake beds, dust all areas, polish metalwork, wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills. Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal area. Floors and Carpets: Sweep and scrub floors, clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Utility and Storage Rooms: Keep utility and storage rooms clean and orderly. Housekeeping Carts and Supplies: Load housekeeping carts with supplies and follow the recommended list for stocking. Replenish linen closet throughout the facility. Disinfection and Sterilization: Disinfect and sterilize equipment and supplies. Reporting and Scheduling: Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules. Report structural and equipment wear, defects, and malfunctions to the supervisor. Report supply and equipment needs to the supervisor. Food Service Assistance: Help serve food trays in the dining room if applicable. What We're Looking For: Experience and Education: At least 17 years of age. Some high-school education. Preferably at least one month of related experience. Skills: Ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one or group settings. Ability to do basic mathematical skills. Attributes: Strong attention to detail. Self-motivated Positive attitude. Passionate about helping others. Ability to multi-task. Our Total Rewards package includes a salary range of between $15 - $16.50/hr.
