Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst $61,781.01 - $76,608.45 minimum starting pay Job Level: Individual Contributor Columbia, Missouri (On-site, Full-time) Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this range is the starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. What You Will Be Doing: Responsible for development and on-going maintenance of the corporate budget and forecasting models, as well as monthly and quarterly analytics and reporting. Collect and interpret data for use in financial modeling, budget, benchmarks, and rolling forecast coordination to provide valuable insight to support Executive management decisions. Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to furnish meaningful observations on ad hoc inquiries from management, internal business partners, and outside vendors. What We're Looking For: Bachelors degree required, with an emphasis in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or other applicable area Excellent analytical and modeling skills and a strong understanding of operational accounting and finance concepts including financial statements, ratios, allocations, journal entries, invoicing, and variance analysis. Demonstrated capability to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and provide valuable insights. Proficiency with MS Office Suite software, particularly Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with development of reports and queries in finance/planning software is a plus. Preference for experience in Workday Adaptive Planning, Workday Financials, and SQL. Proven ability and motivation to identify and lead efforts for on-going process improvement and transition to modernized systems and automation when feasible. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort interacting with all levels of the organization. Personable, with ability to train and support business partners and troubleshoot problems. Capable of working independently while contributing to a team and meeting deadlines.
