Activities Assistant Part-Time Vasona Creek Healthcare Los Gatos, CA $18-19 per hour Various days, including weekends- part time JOIN OUR TEAM! Were looking for a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team and help create meaningful, engaging experiences for our residents. Position Overview The Activities Assistant supports the Activity Director in planning and implementing recreational, social, and therapeutic programs for residents. This role is perfect for someone who is creative, outgoing, and enjoys working with seniors in a supportive environment. Responsibilities Assist in planning, organizing, and leading daily activities and special events Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one engagement as needed Help transport residents to and from activities Document participation and report observations to the Activity Director Set up and clean activity areas Follow all safety and infection-control policies Schedule & Pay Part-time Various days, including weekends $18-19 per hour Qualifications Previous experience in activities, recreation, or working with seniors preferred Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to assist residents safely and professionally Must pass background and health screenings according to state regulations We are an equal opportunity employer.
