Your responsibilities will include: Verifying patient identity and preparing them for exams Explaining procedures clearly to reduce anxiety and encourage cooperation Performing radiologic exams with precision and safety Using sterile techniques for invasive procedures Responding swiftly to emergent patient situations Documenting procedures thoroughly and accurately Coordinating care and communicating with other providers Maintaining a clean and organized work environment Supporting and mentoring students and peers as needed Qualifications Required: ARRT registration Current Radiologic Technologist license in Utah Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire Preferred: IV certification Educational Perks: The PEAK Program Intermountain Health offers the PEAK Program, a tuition-covered education benefit in partnership with InStride.
