Mid-Level Data Publisher Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing Companys Information Digital Technology and Security (IDT&S) organization is currently seeking a Mid-Level Data Publisher to join the Maintenance Data Publishing & Airline Support team in Seal Beach, CA or Seattle, WA. This team partners internally with Boeing Commercial Aviation Services - Customer Support Engineering and enables the creation and delivery of technical manuals and related content for airlines. This position provides essential assembled Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved technical data in various formats used by the airlines and repair stations. The successful candidate will have a keen understanding of publishing methodologies, develop and maintain complex schedules, and work with various publishing systems that produce airline support data. Position Responsibilities: Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex application issues Responsible for system requirements and enhancements, scenarios, testing, integration tasks and analysis Communicate with maintenance business units, authoring groups, airline data delivery teams, and both commercial and derivative users Troubleshoot production issues and provide on-going application/end user support Work across time zones with a geographically dispersed team of developers Ensure IT systems and processes are compliant with enterprise standards and are secure to enable efficient and effective operations Provide end-to-end technical solution leadership and business process alignment through the sustainment of the applications Champion reliable repeatable processes rooted in safety and quality on schedule Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 1+ years of experience with aerospace technical publications 1+ years of experience working with industry specifications for maintenance information (ATA iSpec2200, S1000D, spec 2000, spec 2300, etc.) 1+ years of experience with authoring or publishing systems 1+ years of experience working cross-functionally across multiple product development disciplines 1+ years of experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience using Oracle/MYSQL for application analysis and database design/data architecture Experience using GIT lab Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) process including debugging, test, and integration of software tools Experience with programming practices and language structure (Pseudo) Experience using Unix command line and scripting Experience with DevSecOps and software compliance Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
