How Will You Make an Impact? As an Assembly Deburr Technician at our Grand Junction, CO facility, you will float between the Deburr and Assembly departments as needed. This role requires strong attention to detail and adherence to quality and production standards. You will follow detailed work instructions to assemble precision aerospace components using various hand and specialty tools and perform finish deburring using pencil grinders, handfinish tools, abrasive wheels, and polishing pads. You will also use a borescope to deburr critical internal features and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately. Location: On-site at our Grand Junction, CO facility. Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM What Will You Do? Read and follow work instructions and sketches to assemble high-quality aerospace components using specific tooling, torque drivers, and hardware. Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools to perform unique assembly processes. Utilize measuring tools such as dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers to attain proper assembly-build requirements. Perform inspection in accordance with requirements of Certified Operator program. Pull and scan required components or sub-assemblies from flow racks or bin locations. Conduct physical inventory of parts or assemblies in designated areas. Execute Purge process as needed. Review and understand deburr callouts per drawing. Maintain functionality of all production equipment using preventative maintenance measures. Maintain 6S order and cleanliness in the assigned area at all times. Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. How Will You Get Here? Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent, preferred. Three to five years related experience and/or training. Must be able to obtain and maintain all required job-related certifications. Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to perform repetitive work Ability to use measurement instruments and properly select tools with the appropriate materials to perform the task needed Strong basic math skills, basic computer, problem solving skills, and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates. Mechanically inclined with good manual dexterity. Work successfully in a team environment. May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10-50 pounds. This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
