Full Job Description

This job will be accepting job applications until the position is filled. Annual Salary: $37,440.00 - $40,365.00 Hourly: $19.20 - $20.70 Department: Public Safety, Traffic Operations Division: Signs & Markings FLSA: Non-Exempt Job Description: $500 BONUS $250 ON FIRST CHECK AND $250 AFTER 120-DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT This role will maintain roadway signs and markings in clear and safe conditions. Examples of Duties: Assists in the installation and maintenance of traffic signs and roadway markings. Inspects existing roadway signs and markings for proper placement and repair needs. Maintains equipment used in the repair and installation of traffic signs and roadway markings. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or equivalent combination of education and experience Valid Drivers License Preferred Qualifications: One year of related experience and/or training Other Necessary Requirements: May require evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. In the event of major storms or other emergency situations, this position may be subject to 24-hour shifts or any other emergency schedule that is necessary to meet the Citys needs.
