About the Opportunity Marathon Electric is seeking motivated and driven engineering students to join our Summer Engineering Internship Program. This hands-on internship provides real-world experience in a manufacturing environment, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to meaningful projects that impact our business. Program Dates: June 8th August 7th (tentative) Location: Onsite in Wausau, WI Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00/Hour We are currently hiring: Quality Engineering Intern Manufacturing Engineering Intern Product Management Intern Throughout the summer, interns will work closely with experienced professionals and cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to our products, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. At the conclusion of the program, each intern will present a capstone project showcasing their contributions and learnings. What Youll Do Support engineering or product-related projects within manufacturing, operations, or product development Assist with process improvements, data analysis, and problem-solving initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and supply chain Participate in continuous improvement activities (lean manufacturing, efficiency gains, etc.) Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making Present findings and recommendations as part of a final capstone project What Were Looking For Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) Rising sophomore, junior, or senior preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective communication and teamwork abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred) Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Why Join Marathon Electric?
