Location: Hartsville Converting Operations, Hartsville, SC Position: Production Worker Rate: $22.43/hr + potential monthly bonus Shift: Rotating 1st & 2nd shift (7:00 am - 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm) OT may be required From a small family business to a multi-billion dollar global company, Sonoco has been changing the face of products and packaging since 1899 all while keeping the heart of People Build Businesses alive. The Hartsville Converting Operations has an opening for a Production Worker. This position will be under the general direction of the Winding and/or Finishing Shift Supervisor. What you will be doing: responsible for safely and efficiently assisting machine tenders or others with the physical requirements of the assigned operations require operating small hand-type or less complicated equipment removing tubes from overhead dryer chain conveyor loading tubes on trucks and labeling them properly placing scrap on carts to be hauled away inspection and packing tubes other essential duties as assigned We'd love to hear from you if: have a very good record in the areas of safety, work history, attendance and housekeeping Able to work o/t, weekends, and holidays Have a history of labor intensive work experience Fork truck experience preferred At Sonoco Products Company, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive pay and benefits. *Benefits listed below are for employees located in the U.S. Specific benefits and wellbeing programs may vary depending on your location (within the U.S. or global), or if you are a union employee.
