Cart Attendant

This job will be accepting job applications until the position is filled. Hourly: $19.70 - $19.70 Department: Culture & Recreation, Recreation Division: Recreation Facility Operations FLSA: Non-Exempt Job Description: In this role, you will maintain golf carts and assist customers with proper golf cart use. Examples of Duties: Prepares golf carts for daily use by customers. Assists customers with loading equipment onto carts. Instructs customers in the proper use of carts. Cleans & washes carts after use. Performs minor maintenance on carts. Refers major maintenance needs to supervisor. Performs other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or a student currently pursing a high school diploma Valid state issued drivers license Other Necessary Requirements: Shift varies and includes 12pm-7pm or 10am-4pm (golf course is open 7 days per week) Approximately 25 working hours The City of Charleston is firmly committed to Equal Employment Opportunity ( EEOC) as a fundamental policy to be implemented and observed in our daily operation.
