About The Opportunity The Maintenance Technician is responsible for effectively and efficiently maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance following corporate standards for quality and safety. Essential Functions 1. Helping meet or exceed production, waste and quality goals through a quality maintenance program 2. Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems to repair and maintain all equipment in accordance with plant policies and procedures 3. Using micrometers, calipers, tachometers, and dial indicators for precision measuring 4. Calibrating process instruments 5. Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations Work any shift, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors Performance Measures and Outcomes 1. Strong math skills 9. Computer ability 10. Strong troubleshooting skills 11. Metal fabrication skills 12. Ability to stand 6-8 hours 13. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. maximum 14. Frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs. 15. Frequent bending and lifting Required Experience working with 480-volt motors Experience troubleshooting motors and motor control circuits Experience reading technical drawings and schematics Ability to fabricate, measure, cut, and assemble metal components with precision i.e. mounts, guards Skilled in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques Desired Strong lathe and mill knowledge The position is for the third shift, working from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with expected overtime based on business needs, including Saturday work. The entry pay rate is $36.42 during training, with a certified rate of $38.56. Two companies, one vision.
