The Senior Health Services Associate is a key member of the team responsible for answering phone calls and facilitating communication with healthcare providers, patients, and internal stakeholders. This role also coordinates and schedules initial and refill shipments of patient medications. Target Budget Hourly Rate: $18/hour Bonus: Eligible for an annual bonus of 5% Location & Schedule Location Requirement: Candidate must reside within a 2-hour driving distance of Irving, TX Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM CT (30-minute lunch break) Key Responsibilities The following duties reflect the general expectations of this role but are not all-inclusive: Show initiative and take an enthusiastic, proactive approach to work Strong telephone skills Answer incoming phone calls and provide necessary information Contact patients and gather essential information for coordination of prescription shipments Accurately and completely schedule medication deliveries Maintain patient records accurately and completely Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA and compliance standards Perform other duties as assigned Key Skills Analytical and problem-solving skills Good verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while multitasking and adapting to change Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Experience using MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook Must have reliable transportation to attend training sessions and meetings Bilingual preferred but not required Spanish Minimum Requirement Typically requires 1+ years of related experience Physical Requirements Professional office environment Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and reach outward on a frequent basis Push/pull up to 15 lbs and lift/carry up to 15 lbs We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
