Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, were looking to add a/an Amada EMK Operator in USA, Fontana Ca. Reporting to Fabrication Manager, the Amada EMK Operator is responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC punch press machines used to fabricate metal parts for our manufacturing projects. The primary machine that this person will operate will be an Amada EMK-3610 NT Manual. What a typical day looks like: Operates a punch press machine to manufacture parts from sheet metal or metal plates. Prepares, sets up, and adjusts punch press machine as required by product plans and production schedules. Ensures that there are sufficient raw materials available to fulfill work orders Measures and align materials to be used Inspects products and evaluates finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications Performs routine maintenance on the punch press machine Maintains a clean and safe work area. Performs other related duties as assigned. The experience were looking to add to our team: High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience operating a CNC punch press machine At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work is preferred. Ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate press brake controls. Ability to follow instructions. Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans including blueprints and drawings. Strong attention to detail skills Basic computer and math skills What the physical requirements are: Physically able to operate the punch press machine Prolonged periods standing and performing repetitive tasks. Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.
