It involves guiding students and work-study personnel in shop areas, ensuring they receive the necessary instructional support. Additionally, the role includes preparing lab environments by coordinating with instructors to determine setup requirements, organizing supplies and specialized equipment, and maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the lab space for instructional activities. Beyond direct lab support, this position is responsible for managing inventory and supply control to ensure the smooth operation of experiments and demonstrations. Regular inventory checks are conducted, and supply needs are communicated to supervisors for timely ordering. The role also encompasses other duties as assigned to maintain departmental efficiency and uphold the institutions standards of excellence.
