Job Description: Position Report to: Site Coordinator Position : The Safety & Support Lead serves as the primary point of contact for students, families, staff, and visitors during after-school programming. This role helps maintain a safe, welcoming environment by overseeing student release procedures, monitoring campus access, supporting emergency preparedness, and building positive relationships with families and school partners. Benefits: Pay: $24$27/hour, based on experience and regional location Up to 15 paid holidays annually Schedule: 2030 hours per week (after-school hours) Eligible employees may receive health-related benefits, retirement participation, transit benefits, and wellness programs based on hours worked. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to supporting diverse youth and families. Must pass required background and TB clearances Associates or Bachelors degree Bilingual skills (Spanish, Chinese, or other languages) Key Responsibilities Ensure students are released only to authorized adults and monitor campus entry points. Conduct safety checks and support emergency drills and response procedures. Serve as a welcoming presence for students, families, and visitors. Build positive relationships through responsive communication and excellent customer service. Support daily attendance, sign-in/sign-out procedures, and front desk operations. Assist students who need additional supervision, emotional support, or a break from activities.
