The Opportunity Were hiring a highly skilled Machine Operator who can step into a fast-paced, precision machining environment and make an immediate impact. This is not an entry-level position were looking for an individual who understands machining fundamentals, thrives on producing quality parts, and enjoys working with advanced technology and equipment. Youll be part of a growing manufacturing team that values autonomy, accuracy, and pride in getting the job done right the first time. Location: Alexandria, MN Schedule: Monday Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm Targeted Compensation Range: $18 to $25/hour What Youll Do Operate CNC machines (lathes, mills, Mazak, and related equipment). Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and technical drawings with precision and attention to detail. Maintain tight tolerances and uphold quality standards in every part produced. Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to ensure smooth production flow. Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to verify specifications. Monitor production runs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure on-time delivery. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area consistent with company 5S and safety standards. Partner with engineers and supervisors to improve processes and increase efficiency. Who You Are A skilled machine operator with a strong mechanical aptitude and pride in producing quality work. Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Comfortable operating multiple machines or learning new technologies in a precision environment. Committed to safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship. What You Bring 3+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or metals environment. Hands-on experience with CNC and/or manual lathes and mills (Mazak experience highly preferred). Ability to read blueprints, micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Familiarity with ISO or QMS standards a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
