Instrumentation Systems Design Engineer The Instrumentation System Solutions team is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative engineer to architect nextgeneration instrumentation solutions across a wide range of highspeed electronic test, measurement, and automated test equipment applications. In this role, you will define, prototype, and demonstrate advanced instrumentation architectures using cuttingedge technologies from Analog Devices diverse product portfolio. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and work directly with customers to translate complex systemlevel challenges into elegant, highperformance solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, build, characterize, and document innovative proofofconcept systems for highspeed test and measurement applications. Perform RF/mmWave signalchain analysis, systemlevel modeling, and performance evaluation for semiconductor device and subsystem testing. Develop technical collateralincluding application notes, reference designs, articles, and tradeshow demonstrationsthat highlight instrumentgrade performance using ADI products. Solve customer problems by delivering validated systemlevel solutions, supported by detailed modeling and handson measurements in a stateoftheart lab. Serve as a technical liaison between customers, marketing, design, and product development teams to convert systemlevel requirements into componentlevel specifications for current and future ADI products. Minimum Qualifications BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with 10+ years of experience, or MS or PhD with 5+ years of experience. Strong understanding of systemlevel application challenges and a demonstrated ability to take initiative and drive solutions. Experience with highspeed, RF, and mmWave system design, including proficiency with tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, Keysight ADS, and SystemVue. Deep knowledge of analog and highspeed mixedsignal design fundamentals. Demonstrated programming experience in Python, MATLAB, and C/C++. Handson experience with test and measurement equipment such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, realtime oscilloscopes, and signal generators. Familiarity with FPGAs, DSPs, and embedded systems.
