The Role: Our site in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a/an Industrial or Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineer Intern to join our team for the Summer 2026 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration. In this role, you will support process improvement projects to help the San Luis Obispo site attain higher levels of safety, quality and productivity. What Youll Do: Evaluate and measure process performance, Identify root causes of poor process performance, Prove the causes, Develop countermeasures to mitigate causes, Implement mitigating actions in a timely manner, Check if the mitigations worked, Standardize the improvements. What We Seek: Completion of 2 or more years with selected major in Industrial or Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year: Industrial or Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Graduation date of December 2026 or later Eligibility Entegris does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
