About the Role: Join Baird's Global Investment Banking (GIB) team as a Knowledge Services Operations Assistant, where you'll play a key role in helping investment bankers access the research, market intelligence, and data they need to serve clients and execute transactions. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine operations, technology, research support, and data management within a fast-paced investment banking environment. We offer a collaborative hybrid work environment, with in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday and remote work Monday and Friday, subject to business needs. The Impact Youll Make Maintain research and market-data operations track subscriptions, user lists, and renewals across the firms information-product vendors with accuracy and timeliness Build and maintain spreadsheets of moderate-to-high complexity, including pivot tables, lookups, and usage/cost reporting Field and route research requests, addressing questions that require knowledge of departmental and firm functions Maintain data integrity across CRM and internal systems through accurate entries and regular cleanups Assemble materials and compile research so the team can focus on serving bankers Coordinate meetings, vendor demos, and training logistics; process vendor invoices and expenses, checking for accuracy What Youll Bring to Baird Bachelors degree preferred; minimum 2 years of relevant experience, with investment banking or financial services experience strongly preferred Prior experience in library sciences, research support or knowledge management is a plus Advanced Excel skills and strong command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Exceptionally organized consistent, accurate, and able to prioritize and meet deadlines Not afraid of technology a proactive self-starter who learns new platforms quickly; exposure to AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) and CRM platforms like Salesforce is a bonus Intellectually curious energized by learning new tools, data sources, and better ways to work Detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and a flexible team player able to thrive under peak workloads Compensation and Benefits: Approximately $25 - $33 per hour, based on a 37.5 hour work week Bonus potential up to 8.5% of base pay Compensation and bonus are commensurate with experience, performance and/or firm profitability Youll have the opportunity to advance your career while enjoying our comprehensive benefits designed for your life, career and future. #LI-RE1 Baird is committed to diversity and provides employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, citizenship, national origin, age, disability, military service, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, or any other status protected by law.
