Brown & Brown is seeking Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our growing team in Garden City, NY! The Commercial Lines Account Executive will retain and grow business by servicing and managing client and prospective client relationships both internally and externally collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional customer service, achieve client satisfaction, and drive new business opportunities. How You Will Contribute: Build, maintain, and manage relationships with clients, prospects, carrier partners, and internal teams. Identify coverage gaps and provide clients with appropriate insurance solutions. Conduct loss analysis, coverage reviews, policy form evaluations, and assist with claims questions. Handle policy servicing tasks including endorsements, invoicing, certificates, premium details, and policy changes. Manage the full renewal process, including analysis, negotiation, proposals, and binder delivery. Grow the book of business through networking, referrals, and crossselling opportunities. Support the sales team in new business meetings and onboarding new clients. Develop and present educational materials that add value for clients and prospects. Resolve complex client disputes related to claims. Ensure compliance with internal standards, legal requirements, and client expectations for policies and documentation. Participate in and support training initiatives for new service and sales team members. Promote teamwork, uphold agency guidelines, maintain performance standards, and complete additional assigned duties. Licenses & Certifications: Valid Property and Casualty Insurance Producer license in good standing. Professional Designation specific to area of specialty (ie, ARM, CIC, RPLU) (preferred) Skills & Experience to be Successful: Proficient knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations where business is conducted. Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher. Able to create, edit, and merge letters, spreadsheets, labels, etc. Proficient knowledge use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.) 7+ years experience in the insurance industry, or a related field. College Degree in a business-related field. (preferred) Pay Range $125k - $135k Annual The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
