Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening in Global Supply Chain for a Principal/Sr Principal Project Management to join our team. This position will be ON-SITE in San Diego, CA; Palmdale, CA; or El Segundo CA. This position is unable to support hybrid/remote opportunities. The selected candidate will be accountable as a focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire Global Supply Chain (GSC) Program Management team and Global Supply Chain Team Functions. Drive financial and earned value accuracy, proposal leadership, management, strategy, integration, planning, and execution of GSC material, and labor. They will focus on supply chain execution and drive process improvements to ensure alignment with program priorities. Coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate integrated mitigation or opportunity plans are developed and executed to address any organizational or programmatic risks and opportunities related to procurement supply chain. Responsibilities include: Control Account Manager (CAM) over a specific GSC statement of work Lead financial accuracy and earned value accuracy integration through successful Work Package Management Ensures that prior to program or project execution, all elements of the proposed supply chain program(s) plans have completed, integrated, and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement operation strategies. Leads supply chain execution and is accountable for horizontal and vertical integration, resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity and issue management, supplier performance, and resolution Prepare briefings and brief the PMO and GSCPM office on the status and issues affecting Program cost, driving Program risks and opportunities and schedule GSC performance Contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Demonstrates the skill and ability to be considered an expert in the field within GSC. Develops strategic solutions for complex problems Develops supply chain strategy and leads activities for GSC in all phases of the Northrop Grumman Business Acquisition Process (BAP) Manages multifaceted projects through proposals and processes, coordinates interdepartmental activity, directs communication, and coordinates with suppliers and integrates efforts across all GSC functions Aligns project scope and deliverables with customer requirements and works closely with the technical community Leads Supply Chain Program execution for: Material cost, Forecasting, Risk/opportunity management, Supplier performance, Schedule performance. Supply chain issue resolution, Resource planning, Proposal Activity The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment and will clearly demonstrate strong leadership skills to achieve sustainable top performance. They will be able successfully complete diverse work assignments and effectively collaborate in team settings across all levels. This selected candidate must be able to collaborate closely with executive and program leadership. They will demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business. Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office suite including Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Project (scheduling) SAP experience Basic Qualifications Principal Project Management (Level 3): Must have Bachelor's with 5 years, Master's with 3 years or High School diploma/equivalent with 9 years' experience in the following: Project Management, Program Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Business Management, Proposals, Program Scheduling, Price/Cost Analysis, Program Integration, or other Global Supply Chain related field Experience with Microsoft Office suite Knowledge of Project Management related principles Experience using SAP, ERP or other related business software application Must have ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company to meet its business needs. Senior Principal Project Management (Level 4): Must have Bachelor's with 8 years, Master's with 6 years or High School diploma/equivalent with 12 years' experience in the following: Project Management, Program Management, Procurement, Purchasing, Business Management, Proposals, Program Scheduling, Price/Cost Analysis, Program Integration, or other Global Supply Chain related field Control Account Manager (CAM) or Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience Experience with Microsoft Office suite Knowledge of Project Management related principles Experience using SAP, ERP or other related business software application Must have ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance and ability to obtain Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company to meet its business needs. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) and Control Account Manager (CAM) The ability to create, manage, and manipulate the tools in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel Experience providing financial and business support Project/Program Management Certifications SharePoint workflow or other collaboration site design/development. Process mapping and process improvement experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification Special Program Access Program Management experience Requirements planning experience in SAP, specifically Grouping, Pegging and Distribution (GPD) Salary Ranges: Level 3: 94,200-141,200 Level 4:: 117,500-176,300 Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
