Engrg. (SPD) Work Schedule: Onsite Buffalo, NY Moog's Commercial Aircraft Group is seeking a Senior Product Engineer for an onsite position in East Aurora, NY. As Senior Product Engineer, you will support aircraft production programs both at the Design Center and the Production Center. Reporting directly to the Product Engineering Manager, you will provide engineering support to specific product lines and provide technical guidance to assembly and test personnel, or others in need of your product knowledge. You will support assembly and test operations, and take a leadership role for special projects. To be considered for the role, you'll typically need: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant technical experience OR a Masters of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related program 3+ years of relevant technical experience A Bachelor of Technology Degree in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant technical experience will also be accepted The Product Engineer supports all phases of the product life cycle including development, new product introduction (NPI), product transfer and product delivery in several ways. Additional responsibilities include: Providing clear production assembly and test instructions to operations personnel to maintain efficient production. These instructions include formal work instructions, acceptance test procedures, engineering memos and electronic historical record (EHR) entries. Supporting the evaluation and implementation of equipment to meet production requirements for operations department Assuring and maintaining product integrity Tracking and improving key company and department metrics Providing direction and resolving issues via emails or other Moog processes Supporting evening and early morning teleconferences with the overseas Production Center, approximately two per week Travel overseas 2-3 times per year for up to three weeks per trip Product Engineers must periodically work additional hours to support program goals and product demand How we care for you: Comprehensive benefits package with day one enrollment Flexible Planned Vacation Inclusive company culture Generous 401k contribution and match Profit sharing for full-time employees Stock Purchase Program Onsite health center Nature trails on campus #LI-DT1 #LI-Onsite Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $95,000.00$130,000.00 Annually Salary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
