Engrg. (SPD) Work Schedule: Onsite Buffalo, NY Moog's Commercial Aircraft Group is seeking a Senior Product Engineer for an onsite position in East Aurora, NY. As Senior Product Engineer, you will support aircraft production programs both at the Design Center and the Production Center. Reporting directly to the Product Engineering Manager, you will provide engineering support to specific product lines and provide technical guidance to assembly and test personnel, or others in need of your product knowledge. You will support assembly and test operations, and take a leadership role for special projects. To be considered for the role, you'll typically need: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant technical experience OR a Masters of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related program 3+ years of relevant technical experience A Bachelor of Technology Degree in Engineering with 7+ years of relevant technical experience will also be accepted The Product Engineer supports all phases of the product life cycle including development, new product introduction (NPI), product transfer and product delivery in several ways. Additional responsibilities include: Providing clear production assembly and test instructions to operations personnel to maintain efficient production. These instructions include formal work instructions, acceptance test procedures, engineering memos and electronic historical record (EHR) entries.
